Dear editor,
The South African civil rights movement has sparked interest in many individual such as myself. Such an event was a major contribution to the abolition to racial segregation and discrimination of people of non-white ethnic backgrounds across the world. Gaining equality for these races surely would not have been possible without the voices of protest from millions of South African citizens. Had the civil rights movement not succeeded, the continuation of apartheid and discrimination would have possibly destroyed social and economic infrastructure of the South African republic. The world needs more inspirational figures such as Nelson Mandela, who devoted his entire life to social equality and eradicating society's harsh judgement of non-white races. The South African civil rights movement is a historic event to be known by all, showing how a nation can come together for a common cause. I believe your website helps readers grasp an understanding of the inequalities faced by the people of South Africa, and how they gained support and took action for better civil rights and treatment by society.

Dear editor
This website has been able to help me grasp the concept of apartheid in a way that no other website has done. The imbalances and inequalities that the men and women who were apart of this historical period is truly remarkable. I honestly thought that after the apartheid regime ended, that South Africa was able to restore the common rights expressed by the majority of countries around the World. The current state of South Africa has opened my eyes. Nelson Mandela did a great job of being able to change the country, though obviously his job is not done. Hopefully a future leader can finish what the great man has started. When that happens, the World will be a truly great place.

Dear Editor,
After watching the movie Invictus I was compelled to find out more about such a historically and socially important event in history. Your insights into the events of the Anti Apartheid movement have allowed me to understand the persecution that Nelson Mandela had to go through. Thanks to this I now have a greater appreciation for him and for the society that we live in today which is at large free from racial discrimination. I was also inspired to take up my own community project to push for better human rights in South East Asia, if you could send me any tips or relevant information that would be appreciated.
